Supporting Children and Teens with School Based Challenges

As an ex teacher, I understand the complexities of education from all sides, including barriers for some to being able to access education. 

Schools are fabulous places for so many children and young people, but for others the environment can be challenging for so many different reasons. 

In my role as a school leader, I was invovled in supporting children who were negotiating Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA). 

As a therapist, I have worked with a number of children and teenagers who are facing difficulties with attending or remaining in school.
